The Hearth is a cavernous-style formicarium intended for medium-sized colonies. The interior of the nest is either a single or double sand-coated chamber with 2 large water towers. The massive chamber is kept hydrated by the use of the water towers and can be additionally controlled by the use of nestmates (optional). Removable glass panels can be changed to museum glass for additional charges. The Hearth can be one sided or two-sided and these sides can be designated to be isolated for future expansion using the options.
