This is the next step up from the Inception Chamber or Mini Hearth. The Dire Inception Chamber features a 4.5″ diameter nest fixed inside a large 13x5x5 foraging area with friction-fitting lid. Also included is the option for a glass cover to the nest. Decor options are modified from the drop-down menu. This all-in-one unit is easy to maintain and clean colonies of medium size to large size (tiny and small ants) and is modifiable for any size species.

If you live in warmer, humid regions where humidity exceeds 75% regularly please request no manzanita branches be used in your habitats. These branches are excellent, natural decor but are not meant for extremely humid conditions where humidity is constantly high. We recommend a small dehumidifier be placed in the room of your ant habitats to better control their external environment where they feed, regardless of location.
